Marika is an energy policy advisor to the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC)

Biography

Marika has more than 30 years of experience in energy policy and more than 20 years of experience as a technical writer and editor on energy and environmental issues. She is an energy policy advisor to the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) and has worked as a consultant and lead author on major reports with a range of organizations, including the MIT Energy Initiative, the Bipartisan Policy Center, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the Harvard Project on International Climate Agreements, among others. 

Previously, Marika worked as an energy policy analyst for the Northeast States for Coordinated Air Use Management and the Natural Resources Defense Council. She has a master’s degree in Energy and Resources from the Energy and Resources Group at the University of California at Berkeley and bachelor’s degrees in English and Civil Engineering from Stanford University.
